Ultrasync Path Supervision

Service Grades for SP1 and DP1

These grades are designed to meet the requirements of SP1 and DP1 from EN50136-1.
Enhance Basic Cellular(SP1)
Core Plus Basic IP(SP1)
Core Intrusion (DP1)
Core Intrusion IP (DP1)

Because these grades only provide a basic level of supervision the UltraSync servers perform no active supervision.
The supervision of the ATS (alarm transmission system, eg AXON, xGen, ATS) is performed by periodic test messages from the ATS to the ARC (alarm receiving centre).
The ARC automation system must detect failure of the ATS by detecting missing periodic test messages.

To meet the ATS reporting time of the EN standard, the ARC automation system must be setup to report missing periodic test reports within:
  1. 32 days for SP1 (the ARC can use a shorter time if desired)
  2. 50 hours for DP1 (the ARC can use a shorter time if desired)
For DP1, to meet the ATP reporting time of the EN standard, the AXON / xGen sends the single path failure message (see section 2) within:
  1. 24 hours for IP path
  2. 24 hours for cellular path
When the second path of a DP1 AXON / xGen fails, the AXON / xGen is unable to send
the single path failure message for the second path to the ARC.

Service Grades for SP2 and DP2

These grades are designed to meet the requirements of SP2 and DP2 from EN50136-1.

Enhance Grade 2 Cellular (SP2)
Core Plus Grade 2 IP (SP2)
Enhance Grade 2 DualPath (DP2)

To meet the ATS reporting time of the EN standard, the UltraSync servers send the unit communication failure message (see section 2) within:
  1. 25 hours for SP2
  2. 60 minutes for DP2
For DP2, to meet the ATP reporting time of the EN standard, the AXON / xGen sends the single path failure message (see section 2) within:
  1. 30 minutes for IP
  2. 25 hours for cellular
When the second path of a DP2 AXON / xGen fails, the AXON / xGen is unable to send the single path failure message for the second path to the ARC.

Service Grades for SP3 and DP3

These grades are designed to meet the requirements of SP3 and DP3 from EN50136-1.

Enhance Grade 3 Cellular (SP3)
Enhance Grade 3 IP (SP3)
Enhance Grade 3 DualPath (DP3)

To meet the ATS reporting time of the EN standard, the UltraSync servers send the unit communication failure message (see section 2) within:
  1. 30 minutes for SP3
  2. 6 minutes for DP3
For DP3, to meet the ATP reporting time of the EN standard, the AXON / xGen sends the single path failure message (see section 2) within:
  1. 3 minutes for IP
  2. 25 hours for cellular
When the second path of a DP3 AXON / xGen fails, the AXON / xGen is unable to send
the single path failure message for the second path to the ARC.

Service Grades for SP4 and DP4

These grades are designed to meet the requirements of SP4 and DP4 from EN50136-1.

Enhance Grade 4 Cellular (SP4)
Enhance Grade 4 IP (SP4)
Enhance Grade 4 DualPath (DP4)

To meet the ATS reporting time of the EN standard, the UltraSync servers send the unit
communication failure message (see section 2) within:
  1. 3 minutes for SP4
  2. 90 Seconds for DP4
For DP4, to meet the ATP reporting time of the EN standard, the AXON / xGen sends
the single path failure message (see section 2) within:
  1. 90 seconds for IP
  2. 5 hours for cellular
When the second path of a DP4 AXON / xGen fails, the AXON / xGen is unable to send
the single path failure message for the second path to the ARC.
